The Mitutoyo outside micrometer with a tapered frame is able to measure in tight spaces and narrow slots. Available with a ratchet-stop or friction thimble.

Features

The Mitutoyo 101 series outside micrometer is ideal for measuring in tight spaces and narrow slots attributed to the taper of its frame on the anvil side. Available with a ratchet-stop mechanism or friction thimble for smooth, uniform pressure on a workpiece making it precise, repeatable measurements easier. The frame has a satin chrome finish for durability, and measurements are laser etched for easier reading.

  • Carbide facing on the spindle and anvil resists wear to keep surfaces flatter with longer accuracy
  • A spindle lock provides secure locking of the measurement position
  • Measurements are laser etched on thimble for faster, easier readings
  • Conversion charts are laser etched on the frame
