Mitutoyo FlexUSB Driver

Mitutoyo FlexUSB Driver Suite includes drivers for both major interface types in our product line.

FlexUSB Standard Driver is for our USB-based MIG Interface products. It provides dual-mode communication — HID for instant keystroke-style data entry (e.g., into Excel) and VCP for traditional COM-port software.

FlexUSB 485 FTDI Driver is for devices that communicate over RS-485 using our dedicated 485 cable. This driver is VCP-only and installs the FTDI support required for serial communication over RS-485.

Download the ZIP file below, extract it, and point Windows to the extracted folder when prompted. Your PC will automatically load the correct driver for your device.

Product Description

Mitutoyo FlexUSB establishes a new standard for USB-based data collection by combining HID and Virtual COM Port (VCP) communication into one easy-to-use interface. With a single driver installation, users benefit from:

  • HID mode – instantly sends measurement data into applications as keyboard input
  • VCP mode – traditional serial communication for legacy or custom software
  • Compatibility – works with existing Mitutoyo SPC software, Excel templates, and most data collection tools
